About us

A born and bred Kelownian, Trent is one of the founders of OKLB Rentals. Trent spent many years boating on Okanagan Lake with his family, enjoying the summer seasons and the Okanagan lifestyle. He started his working career in the construction industry both in Kelowna and up in Fort McMurray. Due to his love of the summer season Trent and his partners kicked off the OKLB Rental company starting with only one boat, building it up to their current ten boat fleet. In the off season, Trent returns to construction, while also spending time with friends and family. During the winter months, he can be found playing hockey with his buddies and snowboarding up at Big White. As an owner/operator, Trent is committed to Customer Excellence and ensuring that all rentals go off without a hitch. His role includes the general management of the business, from scheduling bookings, managing staff, to arranging pick up’s & drop off’s. Trent is passionate about making sure his customers have a great time out on the water, taking pride in helping other families to create lasting memories. When Trent is not working, he can be found biking around town, enjoying the various patios Kelowna has to offer or relaxing on a boat himself.

Although Branden was born in Edmonton and is still a die hard Oilers fan to this day, he has spent the last 20 years in Kelownifornia. Branden grew up in an active family where winters were spent in hockey arenas while long summer days were spent golfing and boating on the beautiful Okanagan Lake. Following his days of competitive hockey, he emerged as a head coach, developing the skills of teenage athletes and inspiring young hockey players to be better both on and off the ice. When Branden is not working with boats alongside his brother Trent, he is involved with sales in the Telecommunication field. After boating Okanagan Lake for 20+ years there is not a peak in the lake that he has not seen. Branden has a passion for working with people and enjoys getting to know the guests he is fortunate enough to meet through OKLB Rentals. His spare time is spent biking, coaching soccer, and chasing his active daughter and son around. Often times when Branden is not captaining rentals, he can be found pulling his own children around on the tube, enjoying the beautiful Okanagan lifestyle he knows all to well.
